The popular haptic system will be compatible with some of their top games, starting with the latest installment of the popular video game saga, Assassin’s Creed.
OWO and Ubisoft are collaborating to bring real physical sensations to the publisher’s game portfolio. Starting off will be the new entry in the critically acclaimed franchise Assassin’s Creed Mirage®, which will add sensations to the new adventures of Basim, a cunning street thief who suffers terrible visions from which he seeks answers and justice.
Players will join an old organization and adopt a new creed, one that will change Basim’s destiny in a way he could never have imagined. Meanwhile, they will be able to feel all the impacts the avatar experiences.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will include multiple different sensations such as impacts and parkour. It will also incorporate some exclusive sensations never felt before. You will be able to play and feel all of it on PC and consoles (PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X & Xbox Series S).
This collaboration will be comprised of the outstanding OWO Haptic Gaming System and an exclusive OWO Assassin’s Creed Mirage Edition skin which has an entirely new design, mimicking the main character’s outfit. The edition will be available initially for purchase on OWO’s official website and will be sold as a bundle with the Assassin’s Creed Mirage game available through different retailers later on. Spanish Tech Startup Brings Haptics to Fortnite and League of Legends to Enable Players to #FeeltheGame
OWO, the developer of a haptics system that allows users to physically feel sensations while in-game, announced today their technological collaboration with Overwolf. Through this collaboration, more content will become available for OWO’s Haptic Gaming System, which will be released worldwide by the end of 2022.
With over 30 sensations already created, and endless possibilities for developers thanks to the Sensations Creator, the system delivers an amplified level of immersion enabling users to physically feel in-game actions while playing on a PC platform. Players can feel the wind while free-falling out of the bus in Fortnite, experience the sensation of being wounded in-game, and the enemy’s nexus explosion when winning in League of Legends. In 2022, OWO was recognized as an Innovation Awards Honoree at CES and had great success among developers at GDC and end-users at GamesCom and Tokyo Game Show.
Through the collaboration with Overwolf, the all-in-one platform that enables creators to build, share, and monetize in-game apps, mods, and private servers, OWO has developed an app that seamlessly integrates its haptic system to create customized sensations for games including Fortnite, LOL, Valorant, Rocket League, CS:GO, PUBG, Apex Legends and more on PC computers.

OWO, the developer of a haptics system that allows users to feel physical sensations while in-game, announced today that pre-orders for its Founder Edition haptic gaming system are now open, with the product to be available worldwide from the beginning of 2023.
With over 30 sensations available, the Founder Edition delivers an amplified level of immersion as now it’s possible to physically feel games on all platforms – PC, Mobile, Console and VR. Gamers have the chance to interact with the environment, experience their surroundings, and receive impacts and alerts in real-time while playing. Players can feel the wind while free-falling out of the bus in Fortnite, experience the sensation of being wounded in-game, and the enemy’s nexus explosion when winning in League of Legends.
The Founder Edition, for €499 will be limited to 2,000 units worldwide and will use a “first come, first served” system, where users will be able to reserve their haptic system for €50. This month has been non-stop preparation. Our team went to Monaco where we presented our system applied to the entertainment (movie) sector. There, people had the chance to demo the product and give us feedback. We also won the MEWS, check out our very original trophy.
After this incredible experience, our team took a plane straight to the States to get ready for AWE XR. We spent an intense couple of days doing 100+ demos, meeting many professionals and XR experts and enjoying all the event had to offer.

OWO has developed and patented second skin that allows you to feel everything that happens in the metaverse, a video game or a movie, recreating real physical sensations through the sense of touch, thanks to which it has won the EmprendeXXI Awards in March 15th.
The award ceremony took place at CaixaForum Seville, within the framework of the DayOne Innovation Summit Andalusia, and was attended by Rogelio Velasco, counselor of the Regional Government of Andalusia, as well as professionals from the territorial management of CaixaBank and ENISA, among other speakers.
Our Malaga-based start-up, OWO has won the EmprendeXXI Awards in Andalusia, promoted by CaixaBank, through DayOne, its specialized division for technology and innovation companies and their investors, and co-sponsored by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, through ENISA. In Andalusia, the organization of the EmprendeXXI Awards is supported by Andalucía Emprende. The event was attended by Mr. Rogelio Velasco, Minister for Economic Transformation, Industry, Knowledge and Universities of the Regional Government of Andalusia.

Once again, CaixaBank and ENISA continue promoting and supporting entrepreneurial activity, as well as recognizing the important work carried out by them under the slogan “Become an innovator of the fifteenth edition of the EmprendeXXI Awards”. This 15th edition introduces a change in the name of the awards, renaming them EmprendeXXI Awards to reflect the evolution and adaptation to new needs.
Since its creation in 2007, the program has invested 6.7 million euros in cash prizes and accompanying actions, which have benefited more than 430 companies.
